More concerned with price and trends, I never gave much thought to what was in my clothes or who made them. My search for sustainable and ethical fashion began, but it was much harder than I anticipated.
I founded Amour Vert on the belief that great fashion and social responsibility can coexist. Amour Vert means Green Love in French, but it also means American manufacturing, non-toxic dyes, sustainable fabrics, a zero-waste philosophy and above all, enduring style.
I believe together, we can make the world a greener, more beautiful place — one garment at a time. LINDA BALTI, founder

Made in the USA
97% of all apparel sold in the US is imported, which has led to almost 400,000 lost jobs over the past decade. We proudly manufacture our products right here at home, partnering with sewing shops in California.
Grown in Texas, our certified organic cotton is free of pesticides, insecticides, herbicides and genetically modif ied organisms. It’s pure, American cotton.
Quality Over Quantity
10 1/2 MILLION TONS: That’s how much clothing ends up in landfills in the US every year. Americans buy more than one item of clothing per week and throw it away just as fast, failing to realize the environmental impact. We create quality clothing that lasts.
Be Green, Wear Blue
Denim is one of the worst offenders in the highly polluting fashion industry. Our premium denim is free of toxic chemicals and crafted with water-conscious practices in order to minimize our impact on the environment.
Our Choices Matter
One in six people work in the notoriously dangerous and exploitative global garment industry. 85% of them are women. We choose to produce our clothing in sewing shops that offer fair wages and safe work environments.
Exclusively Amour Vert
Limited Edition artist-drawn prints made just for Amour Vert, all printed on sustainable silk from a small family-owned mill in India.
The feel of the forest
Our soft signature fabric is made with sustainably harvested beech wood. No chemicals used for growing. No genetic manipulation. All natural.
