We're featuring women whose work and values align with what we do at Amour Vert. Julia shares her journey to sustainability and how it plays a role in her day to day life.

On sustainability
Sustainability is the only possible way for us to better the future, to make the Earth a little bit better place to live. That means re-everything: reduce, reuse, recycle.
I grew up in a small village with my grandparents. They had a big garden and produced a very small amount of waste. There was a conviction they had that nothing should be wasted. This background helped me understand more quickly why sustainability is so important as I moved out and started living on my own.
“Look around and think what you can change in your lifestyle? Make a list and then start the revolution, step by step!”

Spring cleaning
I sell or donate my old clothes to charities. I also do spring cleaning with friends. This way, you can swap outfits without spending even one dollar. It feels so good to start spring with a clean closet!

Goals for this year
I just moved into a new apartment and my plan it to fill this space with glass, metal and wood. The goal is to not use plastic at all. I also want to lower my waste as much as possible by recycling and giving life to products I don’t need.
