Effortlessly Sustainable
Our sustainable practices address all aspects of our business operations and the full lifecycle of a garment— the fibers and production processes used, how workers are treated, how it gets to the consumer and finally, whether it can be recycled or is forced into landfill.

CRAFTED IN CALIFORNIA
Our pieces are made in limited quantities to ensure the highest production standard and eliminate excess waste.
of our products are made in California. Most within a few miles of our San Francisco offices.
Our Sustainable Materials
Almost 60% of a garment's environmental impact happens at the fiber and fabric manufacturing. That is why, unlike other fashion companies who may purchase fabric already made, we partner directly with mills to develop fabrics that are sustainable, soft and durable. And we start with the most sustainable fibers and raw materials available.
TENCEL™ Modal
Our signature beechwood blend modal fabric is a wood-based fiber made from FSC-certified forests and is free of pesticides, is biodegradable, and luxuriously soft.
Certified
Organic Cotton
We only use organic cotton which not only saves water, it's never grown with any pesticides, herbicides or insecticides.
TENCEL™ Lyocell
Made in a closed-loop process from sustainably farmed eucalyptus trees, our TENCEL™ is an environmentally responsible fiber from start to finish.
Certified Silk
A highly renewable resource with a very low water footprint, our silk is OEKO-TEX® certified, meaning it meets rigorous testing standards developed by European and Japanese textile industries to ensure it's entirely non-toxic.
Ethical Wool
Highly sustainable and biodegradable, wool is one of the most recyclable fibers. We use recycled wool and Merino wool from mills in Italy and Australia.
Hemp
One of the strongest fabrics available, hemp is naturally resistant to pests and doesn't weaken when it's washed (it just gets softer!). Hemp's deep roots aerate the soil and requires very little water to produce an abundant crop.
