MEET ANDREA
Andrea Ámez began her career as an art historian in Paris, but it was back in her hometown of Los Angeles, CA, that she found her passion for skincare and wellness. After working on the corporate side of the beauty business, she went back to school to become a licensed esthetician specializing in custom treatments, clean products, and caring for melanin-rich skin. Her practice today combines research-driven skin science and holistic wisdom for treatments that are both effective and relaxing. In 2020, she opened her online shop, Ámez Marketplace, where she personally vets every product.

THE MASK
Ancient healers have used these kitchen and pantry staples for centuries, and the combination is ideal for warm summer days. The natural probiotics and lactobacillus found in the yogurt are hydrating, help with acne, and brighten the skin. Turmeric is an anti-inflammatory superhero, while mānuka honey has natural antibacterial qualities that soothe irritated skin.

NATURAL COOLING MASK
Ingredients:
½ cup plain Greek yogurt
1 Tbsp turmeric powder
1 tsp medical-grade mānuka honey

Instructions: Add the ingredients to a small bowl and stir to combine. Apply generously to clean, dry skin. Leave on for 15 - 20 minutes for an icy-cold treat that delivers calming properties and glowing skin. Rinse with tepid water and gently pat dry.
