About the Collection
Fashion is responsible for around 10% of the world's carbon emissions. It can take over 700 gallons of water to grow enough conventional cotton to produce a single cotton tee. Overproduction leads to billions of dollars in surplus fabric that ends up gathering dust in warehouses or going straight into landfills.
To continue our work of addressing these problems (and more), we created a collection made entirely from deadstock fabric.
As a small company we don't have a lot of excess to begin with, but we were still able to repurpose, trim back production, and create a 100% surplus-made, limited edition collection that is really, really good.
By repurposing leftover fabric into new collections, fashion brands can effectively begin to close the textile loop. Deadstock reduces reliance on raw resources and curbs the use of damaging synthetics often used in fabric production. Changing the industry-standard saves water, keeps the air clean, and ensures that fabric waste stays out of landfills for as long as possible.
