We think all our storytelling should highlight our commitment to sustainability, style and social responsibility. In what capacity you’re a part of this, we hope that these content guidelines help protect our community values and keep our work consistent.

Please review the following carefully before submitting any content to AmourVert.com.

Brand Voice & Tone

Our voice is:

  • Warm and Empowering: We communicate in ways that encourage everyone in our audience.
  • Thoughtful and Informed: It’s necessary that every part of the story is accurate and supported by research.
  • Minimal and Elegant: Write in a clear way that is easy for anyone to follow, not unlike how we design our websites.

Topics We Love

You are welcome to write content related to our brand’s mission and the interests of our viewers, for example:

  • Guides to living sustainably when it comes to your clothes
  • Working conditions that are fair and clear information about the supply chain
  • Working for the environment and making mindful purchasing decisions
  • Environmentally-friendly beauty, health and lifestyle
  • The trend of circular economy and slow fashion
  • Following local stories and talks with people who make a difference
  • Hidden aspects of a brand or its design

Content Standards

To maintain editorial integrity and quality, please follow these key standards:

  • Originality: All submissions must be 100% original and not previously published elsewhere.
  • Word Count: Preferred length is 800–1,200 words.
  • Formatting: Use clear headings, subheadings, short paragraphs, and bullet points when appropriate.
  • Images: High-quality, royalty-free images should be added whenever it’s possible. You must credit every image in your work.
  • Citations: Properly credit statistics, quotes, or research from third-party sources using hyperlinks or footnotes.

What We Don’t Accept!!!

To protect our community and maintain editorial quality, we do not accept:

  • AI-generated or Plagiarized content
  • Promotional pieces focused solely on selling a product
  • Political or polarizing content outside of environmental or social justice contexts
  • Offensive, discriminatory, or insensitive language
  • Irrelevant backlinks or keyword stuffing

Include:

  • Your full name and a short author bio (2–3 sentences)
  • Links to any relevant previous writing or portfolio
  • Your proposed topic or full article
  • Any relevant images or media assets (optional)

Our editorial team will review and respond within 7–10 business days.

Editing & Publishing

Submitted content may be lightly edited for clarity, tone, grammar, or formatting. Major edits will be reviewed with the author prior to publication. We reserve the right to decline submissions that don’t align with our standards or brand values.
